Post by 1stgenWizard » Sat Jun 13, 2020 12:58 am

Well there are many opinons on what could be the best upgrade for for your front brakes on your 1st gen probe, I plan on just listing what is out there and available at the time of this post for your probe.

Mazda 6 Brakes, bolt on...
You can buy these parts from just about any auto part resource to do this easy mod.
03-05 Mazda 6 => 11.1" => Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 Mazda 6 => 11.8" => Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 Mazda Speed 6 => 12.6" => Must have a 17" wheel minimum

Parts you will need in order to complete the swap and have to match the year corresponding rotor you are going to use.
-Front Calipers
-Front Caliper brackets
-Front Rotors
-Brake pads.
