Required:
1.) Remove the three push tabs from behind the right side of the center console (red arrows). The tabs are removed by first pulling the center tab outward, then pulling the piece out. Remove the trim piece from the vehicle.

3.) Remove the three push tabs from behind the left side of the center console (red arrows). Remove the trim piece from the vehicle.
4.)Remove the two 10mm bolts from the left side of the ECU (red arrows).
5.)Side the ECU out though the left side. Disconnect the three wire connectors from the unit and remove it from the vehicle.
Procedure: ECU Disassembly
NOTE: Circuit boards in the ECUs are very sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Do not touch the board circuitry itself when opening the ECU case without first grounding yourself.
1.)Remove the four phillip's screws in the top of the ECU case (red arrows).
2.)Remove the six phillip's screws from the top circuit board.
3.)Lift the top board out and flip over towards the front of the case. The EPROM is in the lower right corner of the top board.
Identification:
Make note of the EPROM code on the EPROM itself (example: 079753-1143). The ECU code is printed on the top of the ECU case and again on the front of the ECU case (example: F2F6).
