Hi 1stgenWizard, can you please discribe about your mods around F2T?

I mean,your turbo spec? T3/T4
- did you use boost-controle like Apexi AVC-R, or something else and recomends which better to buy? (In pare boostcontrole ecu+probinatorChip)
or
What kind of chip you using with stock ECU, or Megasquirt, or FCD F-con, or speeduino.
I'm trying to find best way for me. Coz my stock IHI RHB5 VJ11 got damaged couple blades, and I think about light up my engine, and thinking about couple of mods. Don't want to blow my manual gearbox and driveshafts, that what I'm try to research and build something around 180-230-250hp. Not too much.

And last monts trying to find parts and any solutions in my way.

Also I found in my jankyards, two ECU, both of them from turbo Probe 1st gen, (89-90 there are traces of repair) and 91-92, and one in my car P1GT-91, I didnt open it before. And second one 91-92 looks better to mee. And if I start moving towards buying a probinator chip and soldering it into this control unit, so that in case of anything I can keep my original one, from the car. And this one will be for experiments.

Or for my plans described above up factory 147hp with +40+60hp, I will need new injectors, a more powerful fuel pump, and I will have to give up the flow meter in favor of a map sensor. And many other modes.

Then I will have to think about a megasquirt.

I also did not find the necessary topics about fcon. or fkd.
Neither how to set it up nor how to connect it. I saw a couple of them on sale, but I have absolutely no idea what else I will need to buy there.
Damn, so many thoughts that need to be asked and told..

My probe gt is far advanced than all. I use a Greddy electronic profec controller. I recommend starting out with a basic manual controller.
I use a custom designed chip.

Parts can be hard to find, fordprobeparts.com can get parts, if you need a turbo they may be able to help , just send them an email they have a lot of parts they don't list on the site.
Stock injectors are good for up to 12 psi but not any more.

Fcon is custom and only a few have gotten those things to work, rare to find what you need to make those work.

89 ecu's are different from 90-92 gt ecu', they are not swappable as the plugs are different.

Thanks for response!
Hmm sounds like a plan. Already taked contact via mailing to fordprobeparts and will buy chip there and mb some other parts.

Yes you are right, the control units of 89-90 (there is a different connector and slightly different components. Well, the filling is different.) and 91-92 are different. I read and knew this. In fact, I took it as donor parts and in addition there was a unit there too.
On the second ECU from GT 90-92, and eprom, as needed "079753-1144" and if it starts my engine and shows good work, then I will modify it and sew in a chip. And I will leave my ECU as a backup.

At the moment, for my purposes, I want to leave the stock wiring in the car. That's why I want to buy a chip and add modifications.
First I want to start with ecu-Chip.

But I also realized that I need a boost controller for the chip and I think about innovate wideband lc-1 or lc-2 doesnt matter. or better to buy innovate kit SCG-1, which will contain both boost-control and wadeband controle.
And main question here is, stock ecu will give error codes if I will connect scg-1 wadeband and boost-controle?
I mean, coz stock harness connectors will not be used there any-more if I put new discribed up systems SCG-1, is it right? or not importand for ECU and he didnt see them like "null'?

And I'm stuck a bit, if I will put all what I say before to my car, I still need fuel or injector controle, any example what to use? And how I import new injector controle to stock ECU wiring, can you please give advice around this? Or it not important at this stage?

My goal is something around 180-230hp power. And 14-20psi.
What injectors better to use in this criteria, I found in sale set of 4 from Lancer Evolution 8 560cc but not already bay it. Or better to get some else?

You will only get an error code if you unplug the stock boost controller
