Bypassing Factory Amplifier

If you'd prefer to bypass the factory amplifier, purchase bypass harness

Push the front passenger side seat all the way forward. Remove the plastic screw tabs from the two covers at the rear of the front seat tracks and remove the covers.
Remove the three 14mm bolts and one 14mm nut from the front passenger seat. Disconnect any wires from the bottom and remove the seat from the vehicle.

Locate the premium sound amplifier. Disconnect the Stereo-to-Amplifier connector from the left side of the amplifier and the Amplifier-to-Speakers connector from the right side.

Remove the three 10mm mounting bolts from the amplifier and remove the amplifier from the vehicle. It will no longer be needed.
Plug in harness and reinstall seat.
