ISSUE: A "groaning" noise from the rear suspension when the vehicle is driven over bumps or when the brakes are applied may be caused by the parking brake cables rubbing against the cable holders. The affected units are Probe GT models only.
ACTION: Apply Ford Multi-Purpose Grease to the brake cable holders and the brake cables as shown in Figure 1.
