Front Retractor and Harness Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove quarter trim to gain access to the seat belt retractor.






2. Pull off seat belt harness cover to remove seat belt harness anchor bolt.






3. Pull off seat belt anchor bolt cover to remove anchor bolt.
4. Remove bolt securing seat belt retractor.
5. Remove retractor and harness assembly.

INSTALLATION






1. Position retractor and harness assembly and install seat belt retractor anchor bolt. Tighten bolt to 39-55 Nm (28-35 ft lbs).

CAUTION: Keep fingers away from ratcheting mechanism when installing retractor mechanism.

2. Install seat belt harness anchor bolt and cover. Tighten anchor bolt to 39-55 Nm (28-35 ft lbs).
3. Install seat belt anchor bolt and cover. Tighten anchor bolt to 39-55 Nm (28-35 ft lbs).
4. Install quarter trim.
