Some of the diagnostic procedures for the 4EAT transmission as published in the 1989 Probe Shop Manual, Sections 17-01 and 55-04 are incorrect.

ACTION:
If service is required, use the diagnostic procedures on pages 21 through 27 of this TSB article. This information should be inserted in your 1989 Probe Shop Manual, Sections 17-01 and 55-04.
