ISSUE: Condensate from the A/C system may leak into the passenger compartment if the evaporator drain tube becomes plugged or stuck shut.

Figure 1:

ACTION: Cut 1 to 1-1/4 inches off the end of the drain tube in front of the dash panel as shown in Figure 1. Refer to the 1989 Probe Shop Manual, Section 36-75 for service details.
