This inspection is only intended to detect obvious problems with the Electronically Controlled Automatic Transaxle (4EAT) that can be easily investigated. Tests made in this procedure are for systems related to the transaxle, whose failures can cause transaxle malfunction. After any repair is made, the symptom being investigated should be re-evaluated to determine if further diagnosis is required.
