The rear suspension, Fig. 1, is fully independent utilizing rear MacPherson struts at each wheel. If the vehicle is equipped with the programmed ride control system, the rear strut towers locate the programmed ride control actuators and the strut assemblies. A forged rear spindle bolts to the shock absorber, double rear lateral links and a single trailing arm.
