1990-92 PROBE
ISSUE:
Front brake "groaning"/"grinding" noise may be heard on moderate-to-heavy braking. The concern occurs most often at ambient temperatures above 65~F (18~ C). This condition may be caused by the brake pad material.
ACTION:
Replace the front brake pads with improved brake pads and attachment kit to eliminate the "groaning"/"grinding" noise. Refer to the 1992 Probe Service Manual, Section 06-03-3, for service details.
