Liftgate Wiper/Washer

With the Ignition Switch in "RUN", voltage is present at the Liftgate Washer Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Motor through the REAR WIPER Fuse.

WIPER OPERATION

With the Liftgate Wiper Switch turned to "ON", the Liftgate Wiper Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Wiper Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Wiper Motor and the Liftgate Wiper Switch to ground. The Liftgate Wiper Motor runs to operate the rear wiper arm.

WASHER OPERATION

With the Liftgate Washer Switch activated in the "WASH" position, the Liftgate Washer Switch contacts are closed, grounding the Liftgate Washer Motor. Current flows through the REAR WIPER Fuse, the Liftgate Washer Motor and the Liftgate Washer Switch to ground. The Washer Motor runs to power the rear washer pump.
