Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Visually inspect the components of the cigar lighter system.
2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage:

Mechanical
- Damaged retaining fingers

Electrical
- Blown fuse: 15A AUDIO
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Damaged element
