Removal

1. Remove the outboard, RH front wheel driveshaft and joint. Remove the outboard half only.





2. Remove the three front axle bearing bracket bolts.





3. Carefully pry the halfshaft from the differential.
4. Remove the halfshaft from the vehicle.





5. Install Transaxle Plugs T88C-7025-AH into the transaxle.

CAUTION: Transaxle Plugs T88G7025-AH must be used to prevent differential side gear misalignment on MTX and 4EAT equipped vehicles, and fluid leakage on all transaxles.

6. Remove and discard the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip from the halfshaft.





7. Use an arbor press and suitable driver to press the halfshaft from the front axle bearing bracket.





8. Use an arbor press and suitable driver to press out the front axle bearing and the inboard driveshaft inner dust seal.
9. Use a suitable seal remover to remove the outboard driveshaft inner dust seal.
