Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Fuel Pressure Regulator:

1. Relieve the fuel pressure.

2. Disconnect the fuel return tube.

3. Remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator.

4. Remove the bolts from the fuel injection supply manifold and remove the fuel pressure regulator.

5. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pressure regulator.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the fuel pressure regulator bolts to 8-11 Nm (71-97 lb in).
