Line Pressure Solenoid

DESCRIPTION
The line pressure solenoid is located on the valve body and is switched on and off by duty-cycle regulated electrical signals from the PCM or TCM.

OPERATION
The line pressure solenoid regulates line pressure supplied to the shift valve(s) and other transaxle components. The line pressure solenoid is switched on and off at a duty-cycle frequency of 31.25 Hz to maintain a specified line pressure.
