Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Description and Operation

Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve:

The fuel pressure regulator control solenoid valve adjusts the amount of vacuum applied to the fuel pressure regulator by an output signal from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). During hot starts, the fuel pressure regulator control solenoid valve prevents fuel percolation by cutting vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator and allowing the fuel pressure to increase to full pressure.
