Height Adjustment
1. Measure the height difference between the sliding roof panel and the roof panel.2. Allowable height difference is +0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to -1.5 mm (0.06 inch).
3. If the height difference is not within specification, adjust the sliding roof panel height as follows.
a. Remove the roof headlining.
b. Loosen the two roof sliding panel housing bracket nuts.

c. Adjust the sliding roof panel height by turning the two height adjusting nuts on the roof opening frame.
NOTE: Clockwise rotation of the nuts adjusts the roof opening frame upward.
4. After adjustment, tighten the roof sliding panel housing bracket nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In).
5. Verify that the sliding roof panel does not contact the roof panel during operation.

6. If the sliding roof panel does contact the roof panel, loosen the four sliding roof panel nuts and adjust the sliding roof panel as necessary.
7. If this adjustment is not enough, loosen the two roof sliding panel housing bracket nuts and raise the roof opening frame with the two height adjusting nuts.
8. Tighten the roof sliding panel housing bracket nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In) and continue to adjust the height adjusting nuts.
9. Tighten the sliding roof panel nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 Lb-In).
NOTE: If the sliding roof panel sets below the roof panel more than 2.0 mm (0.08 inch), loosen the sliding roof panel nuts and insert shims between the roof opening frame and the sliding roof panel.
