Rear
1. Whenever the rear disc brake caliper is rebuilt, inspect the rear disc brake caliper bore, piston seal groove and rear disc brake caliper piston for:^ Cuts
^ Deep scratches
^ Pitting
^ Rust
2. The rear disc brake caliper piston and rear disc brake caliper bore may be lightly polished with crocus cloth but if deep scratches remain, they must be replaced.
3. The seal groove in the rear disc brake caliper must be free of deep scratches that would prevent the seal from working properly.
4. Inspect the caliper sleeve and brake caliper bolt dust boot for damage and poor sealing.
