Rear

The rear brake shoes and linings are equipped with a wear indicator that will make a squealing noise when the rear brake shoes and linings are worn. This allows vehicle owners to service their brakes before any rear disc brake rotor damage occurs. Inspect the rear brake shoe and lining for:
^ Grease on the face
^ Abnormal wear or cracking
^ Deterioration or damage due to heat
^ Minimum thickness of 1 mm (0.04 inch)
