Front

The front disc brake system includes:
^ Brake pads
^ Front disc brake calipers
^ Front disc brake rotors
^ Front brake hoses
^ Front disc brake caliper anchor plates
The front disc brake caliper slides on two stainless steel guide pins. The front disc brake caliper bolt attaches the front disc brake caliper to the front disc brake caliper anchor plate.
The brake pads are held in the front disc brake caliper anchor plate by two clips. The inboard brake shoe and lining is equipped with a wear indicator. The indicator contacts the front disc brake rotor and makes a squealing noise when the brake pads are worn. This assures that the brake pads will be replaced before any front disc brake rotor damage occurs.
The front disc brake caliper must be removed to replace the brake pads.
