Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. The vacuum booster hose check valve is located in the center of the vacuum booster hose that attaches to the intake manifold. The vacuum booster hose check valve is not serviced separately. To check the vacuum hose check valve, disconnect the vacuum booster hose at the intake manifold.
2. Apply suction and pressure to the vacuum booster hose from the engine side. Make sure air only flows toward the engine. If not, replace the vacuum booster hose.
