Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the radiator to a level below the outlet connection for the radiator coolant recovery reservoir hose and then close the radiator draincock.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the five left front fender splash shield bolts and remove the front fender splash shield.
4. Disconnect the radiator coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator coolant recovery reservoir.
5. Remove the two bolts and lower the reservoir neck through the sheet metal opening.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Tighten the front fender splash shield bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 inch lbs.).
^ Refill the cooling system.
