Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.

NOTE: On 4EAT models, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the radiator. Plug the transmission fluid cooler inlet tubes to prevent fluid leakage.





2. Remove the four fan shroud bolts.





3. Remove the fan shroud from the radiator.





4. Remove the fan blade clip.





5. Remove the fan blade from the engine cooling fan motor.
6. Remove the engine cooling fan motor.
7. Remove the A/C condenser cooling fan.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Tighten the four fan shroud bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 inch lbs.).
