Coolant Crossover Tube

The 2.5L has a water supply tube that also is a coolant crossover tube.





The above is an exploded view of the water supply tube and its related components.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the intake manifold.
2. Remove the water supply tube bracket bolt.
3. Remove the two water supply tube-to-rear water hose connection bolts. Discard the gasket.
4. Pull the water supply tube loose from the water hose connector.
5. Remove the water supply tube. Discard the O-ring.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the water supply tube to the water hose connector using an O-ring.
2. Install a new gasket between the water supply tube and the rear water hose connection.
3. Install the water supply tube-to-rear water hose connection bolts. Tighten the water supply tube-to-rear water hose connection bolts.
4. Install the water supply tube bracket bolt. Tighten the water supply tube bracket bolt to 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the intake manifold.
