Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Remove the intake manifold.
2. Remove the valve covers.
3. Remove the timing belt.

4. Remove the camshaft sprocket bolts, then the camshaft sprockets.
NOTE: Use a suitable wrench on the camshaft cast hexagon to hold the camshafts.
INSTALLATION

1. Install the camshaft sprockets, then the camshaft sprocket bolts. Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolts to 123-140 Nm (90-103 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: Use a suitable wrench on the camshaft cast hexagon to hold the camshafts.
2. Install the timing belt.
3. Install the valve covers.
4. Install the intake manifold.
