The crankshaft is supported in the lower half of the two-piece cylinder block by four-bolt main journals. One crankshaft sprocket and two camshaft sprockets combined with four camshaft gears, two timing belt idlers, one timing belt tensioner and a timing belt connect the crankshaft and camshafts.
