Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the four oil pump screen cover and tube bolts. Remove the oil pump screen cover and tube and the oil pump inlet tube gasket.
3. Remove the six oil pan baffle bolts and the oil pan baffle.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the oil pan baffle. Tighten the oil pan baffle bolts to 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the oil pump screen cover and tube with the oil pump inlet tube gasket. Tighten the oil pump screen cover and tube bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 inch lbs.).
3. Install the oil pan.
