Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Remove the oil pump.





3. Use a screwdriver protected with a rag to remove the crankshaft front seal from the oil pump housing. Discard the seal.

NOTE: Protect the oil pump housing with a rag while removing the crankshaft front seal.

INSTALLATION





1. Use a press and Front Seals Replacer T74P-6150-A to install a new crankshaft front seal.
2. Install the oil pump.
3. Install the crankshaft pulley.
