Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the transaxle.
2. Remove the flywheel.





3. Use Seal Remover T92C-6700-CH to remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.

INSTALLATION
1. Apply clean engine oil to the outer sealing lips of the crankshaft rear oil seal.





2. Position the crankshaft rear oil seal on Rear Crankshaft Seal Replacer T92C-6701-BH.





3. Position Rear Crankshaft Seal Replacer T92C-6701 -BH and the crankshaft rear oil seal on the rear of the crankshaft and install the crankshaft rear oil seal (seat the crankshaft rear oil seal by installing two flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts through the seal replacer and tightening them).
4. Remove the two flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts and the Rear Crankshaft Seal Replacer T92C-6701-BH.
5. Install the flywheel.
