Blower Motor Resistor: Testing and Inspection

1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect heater blower motor resistor C297.
3. Measure the resistance between the wire terminals of the heater blower resistor according to the chart below.

Terminals Resistance
3 - 4 0.38 ohms
3 - 2 0.69 ohms
1 - 2 1.69 ohms
1 - 4 2.76 ohms



4. If the resistances are correct, return to the Pinpoint Tests. Pinpoint Tests
5. If the resistances are incorrect, replace the heater blower motor resistor.
