Evaporator Case: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Discharge the A/C system into a proper recovery system. Discharging and Recovery
2. Disconnect the high-pressure line fitting at the bulkhead.
3. Disconnect the evaporator-to-compressor suction line coupling at the bulkhead.
4. Disconnect the vacuum line.
5. Remove the instrument panel.
6. Disconnect the heater blower motor electrical connector.
7. Remove the air bag wiring harness clip and remove the air bag wiring harness from the A/C evaporator/blower motor assembly.
8. Disconnect the A/C blower motor resistor electrical connector.
9. Remove the two nuts and two bolts from the A/C evaporator/blower motor assembly brace and remove the brace.
10. Remove the three nuts and one bolt from the A/C evaporator/blower motor assembly.
11. Remove the A/C evaporator/blower motor assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Charge the A/C system. Evacuation and Charging
