Oil Pressure Gauge: Description and Operation

The oil pressure gauge operates using a ground signal from the oil pressure switch. With the oil pressure switch open (engine running), the gauge reads normal. When the oil pressure switch is closed (engine off), the gauge reads low. There is no adjustment, calibration, or maintenance for the gauge.

NOTE: An instrument voltage regulator is not required for this system.
