Oil Pressure Gauge: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the instrument cluster.
2. Apply 12 volts to terminal "C241-6" at the instrument cluster.
3. Apply ground to terminal "C1-9" at the instrument cluster.
4. Connect one lead of the Rotunda Instrument Gauge System Tester 014-R1063 or equivalent to terminal "C240-6" at the instrument cluster and the other lead to ground.

Oil Pressure Gauge Resistances.:

5. Adjust the instrument gauge system tester to the resistances shown in the illustration.
6. If the oil pressure gauge does not operate as specified, replace the oil pressure gauge. If the oil pressure gauge is OK, return to the Pinpoint Tests.
