Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation

Air Bag
When starting the vehicle, the air bag warning indicator illuminates and remains lit for six seconds. It only illuminates after starting if an air bag system malfunction is detected.

Safety Belt
The safety belt warning indicator illuminates for sixty seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON, regardless of safety belt usage.
