Tachometer: Description and Operation

The tachometer is located in the instrument cluster to the right of the speedometer. The tachometer reads from 0 to 8,000 rpm and is triggered by pulses from the ignition coil. The GT model with the 2.5L engine has a 7,000 rpm redline.
