Dust Seal

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front suspension lower arm.
2. Place the front suspension lower arm in a suitable vise.
3. Remove the front suspension arm ball joint dust seal with a chisel. Do not damage the ball joint.





INSTALLATION
1. Liberally coat the inside of the new front suspension arm ball joint dust seal with Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or XG-1-K or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B.
2. Use Dust Boot Replacer T87C-5493-A to install the front suspension arm ball joint dust seal.
3. Install the front suspension lower arm.
