Trailing Arm: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the parking brake rear cable and conduit clamp from the trailing link.





3. Remove the rear trailing link bolt.





4. Remove the front trailing link bolt.
5. Remove the trailing link.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure noting the following:
^ Tighten the front trailing link bolt to 78-117 Nm (58-86 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the rear trailing link bolt to 86-117 Nm (64-86 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the parking brake rear cable and conduit clamp nuts to 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft. lbs.).
