Band: Description and Operation

The 2-4 band locks the rear sun gear and drum. The 2-4 band encircles the rear sun gear and drum. One end of the band is secured to the servo band lever, the other end to the 2-4 band servo retainer. The servo band piston is inserted into the 2-4 band servo retainer, which is installed in the transaxle case.
