Low Reverse Clutch

1. Check for damaged or worn external spline clutch plates and internal spline clutch plates. The minimum allowable external spline clutch plate thickness is 1.4 mm (0.055 inch).
2. Check for a broken or worn low/reverse clutch piston or retainer snap ring.
3. Check for broken or weakened low/reverse clutch springs. The free length of each low/reverse clutch spring should be 20.5 mm (0.807 inch). Replace as required.
