Freeplay

1. Measure the pedal height.
2. Depress the clutch pedal by hand until resistance is felt.
3. Measure the height of the clutch pedal when resistance is felt.
4. Free play should measure 1-5 mm (0.04-0.19 inch).
5. if free play is not within specifications, loosen locknut C and turn clutch pedal to clutch master cylinder rod D until the pedal free play is correct.
6. After the clutch pedal is adjusted, ensure that when the clutch is disengaged, the clutch pedal disengagement height is 72 mm (2.83 inches).
7. Tighten locknut C to 12-16 Nm (105-147 inch lbs.).
