Clutch Release Bearing: Testing and Inspection

1. Turn the clutch release hub and bearing in both directions and check for any binding or abnormal noise.

CAUTION: The clutch release hub and bearing is a sealed bearing and must not be washed.

2. Check for worn or damaged clutch release fork contact surfaces.





3. Check the sliding condition of the clutch release hub and bearing. Install the clutch release hub and bearing on the transaxle input shaft and check for smooth movement.
