Pilot Bearing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the transaxle.
2. Remove the clutch disc and the clutch pressure plate.





3. Use Puller T58L-101-B to remove the pilot bearing.
4. Inspect the pilot bearing for excessive wear or scoring and replace if necessary.





INSTALLATION
1. Install the pilot bearing using Pilot Bearing Replacer T88C-7025-EH. The pilot bearing should be 0-0.4mm (0-0.016 inch) below the surface of the crankshaft flange.
2. Install the clutch disc and clutch pressure plate.
3. Install the transaxle.
