END PLAY






1. Remove the wheel and front disc brake caliper. Hang the disc brake caliper from the front coil spring using a cord or piece of wire.





2. Position Dial Indicator with Bracketry TOOL-4201-C or equivalent against the wheel hub, then push and pull the wheel hub.
3. Measure the end play of the wheel hub and front wheel bearing. The maximum allowable end play is 0.05mm (0.002 inch). If the end play exceeds the specified limit, replace the front wheel bearing.
